The Province of Christ the King represents Apostolic Christianity in the Anglican tradition.
Our beliefs are stated on the pages of the 1928 Book of Common Prayer.
The Province of Christ the King is an Anglican Church committed to traditional
forms of doctrine and liturgy. The Province is a body composed of four dioceses with
parishes and missions throughout the United States.
The Church's responsibility is to reveal Christ to the world. The Province of Christ
the King holds the "faith once delivered to the saints" as handed down
from the apostolic fathers.
The Church of Saint Mary The Virgin is that portion of the Province holding
services in San
Diego County on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM and on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM.
Our telephone
number is (619) 280-0391. Leave a message and we will return your call shortly.
WE BELIEVE
The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the Word of God.
The Creeds (as the standard of Faith) mean exactly what they say.
Christian Morality of the New Testament is the sole guide for the Church.
The Sacraments convey Grace; and through them Christ is known and is present.
The Apostolic Ministry of Bishops, Priests, and Deacons was instituted by Christ,
and it is male in character.
The worship of the Church has as its basis the Book of Common Prayer (1928).
We do not compromise on matters of Faith and Order, Discipline, or Morality.
Here we stand.
